The goal of this project was to transfer loaded pallets from one building to another one sitting beside and at a lower level.

The pallets are conveyed one by one through the corridor between buildings by a section of drive rollers. The pallet moves towards the lifting platform, which has section of drive rollers too. After the pallet has reached the desired position, the lifting platform’s upper gate is closed and the pallet is lowered downstairs. Once the platform has reached downstairs with the pallet, the lower gate opens and the pallet proceeds to the next section of drive rollers where it joins the precedent pallets until the operator removes them all with a stacker or forklift.

The automatic control system to manage this equipment was designed and installed by SIDEMSA.
